The Rice and Peas was bought from this Jamaican restaurant that my mother and I had eaten at on the weekend..I had leftover rice, so I just decided to add it to my meal. I fried chicken and steamed the veggies with a little soy sauce! This meal was sooooo delicious, I tore it down!
I had a craving for liver, so I said "hhmmmm, think I'll try to make it" I've never made liver before...ever. I washed them and seasoned them with salt and pepper, then threw them in a bag of flour. I fried them with peppers and onions until they were brown. Took them out and added water to the frying pan to make the gravy. After the gravy was done, I added back in the fried liver. After cooking together for like 5 minutes, it was ready to eat. This was an easy dinner. Total prep and cook time was like 15 minutes.
I steamed broccoli, red peppers, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and soy sauce! I seasoned the flounder with butter and then baked it...( I prefer fried flounder). I just feel like Flounder tastes better when its fried. I need to upgrade my spice collection, so that probably had an effect on the taste too. The fish didn't turn out bad, I just feel it could have been better :( I'll try again, next time!
