SMAC Macaroni and Cheese!

I saw SMAC on the travel channel a few years ago and always said I would go there one day. If you love Macaroni n Cheese..I love Mac n Cheese! then SMAC is where you need to be. They have so many different types of Mac n Cheese or you can create your own. Check out their website to see all they offer in the land of Mac n Cheese:  http://www.smacnyc.com/

When I went to SMAC, I had the All American, which is the basic mac n cheese, and I added chicken and broccoli. OMFGGGGG!!!!! I can't describe how tasty it was!!! they serve it to you steaming hot out of the oven...SMAC only has one location in NYC, so make sure to stop by and get your mac n cheese on :)

Lunchtime! Maoz FALAFEL :)

I just started eating Falafel's this year, because I was introduced to them by a good friend. I had my first Falafel at Chickpea and it was delicious, I was instantly hooked. This year I also started a new job in Union Square NYC, there is a Maoz Vegetarian not too far from my job. I would walk past it everyday, but one day I decided to stop looking and start tasting. I'm not a vegetarian, but I am into eating and living a healthier lifestyle. In Maoz you order a junior or large Falafel on whole wheat or white pita, then you add in as many veggies as you want from the salad bar. There are all types of fresh veggies at the bar, I always add eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, chickpeas, broccoli, cauliflower and some Tahini Sauce. The taste is so fresh and yummy, and since its all veggies its very filling. Next time you spot a Maoz, try it out, you just might become addicted like me! haha

Dessert Flo! Napoleon

NAPOLEON! this is an Italian Dessert that I just love so much, its so delicious from top to bottom layer. Most bakeries carry the Napoleon, because it is a common and popular pastry dessert :) The ingredients are pretty basic...chocolate, water, vanilla pastry cream, pastry, and powdered sugar, you can also add some fresh fruits like strawberries, bananas and blueberries. I must admit, I have never made a Napoleon, but it is on my list of to bake! So next time you have a sweet tooth and want to try something new, try a Napoleon!
