So since I have to have 3 servings of 4 oz. of protein and 4 servings of 1 cup of veggies a day... I have to get creative with how I season my Tilapia and Chicken breast... Below I sautéed Tilapia which was seasoned with cayenne pepper and Mrs. Dash seasoning. I added red peppers and mushrooms then placed it all on a bed of spinach. The dressing was a homemade mixture of vinegar, spicy mustard and olive oil, so yummy!
Soooo for the past few months I've been training hardcore for my fitness competition and the nutrition during competitor prep is...well, crazy lol I say that because I'm a foodie, so eating just chicken breast, tilapia and green veggies is not my idea of deliciousness! But... It's for working toward a challenging goal I've set for myself, so it's ok and it's only for 3-4 months phewww lol then back to my normal clean eating, Yay! I can hear the Justin's Maple Almond Butter and Oatmeal just calling me! I'm coming soon guys...2 more weeks until my show, I'm so proud of myself that I stepped out the box and really challenged myself food and exercise wise, it's been rough emotionally, but I'm almost at the finish line and I couldn't be happier! I feel so good and I look good, which is the icing on top!
