Dough located in Brookyln, NYC has some very delicious donuts. They recently opened up a shop in the Chelsea area in Manhattan. The line was literally wrapped around the block everyday for the first week it opened. Yes, I stood in line for 30 mins to try these tasty artisanal treats. I decided to try the chocolate salted caramel, dulce de leche, hibiscus and a regular glazed.
Simple, Simple chicken breast sandwich but OH SO TASTY!!! I seasoned, lightly battered with flour, then pan fried a couple of chicken breast strips. I spread Greek yogurt on my wrap (healthy substitute and still good) then I placed my chicken on top, then placed some sliced tomatoes and fresh raw baby spinach then I sprinkled some hot sauce on it (not pictured). I then rolled it and took a big bite...when I tell you this simple simple chicken sandwich was so friggin good, I had to make another one the next day and the day after. I think it was so good because of the seasonings I used. Sazon, garlic, pepper and hot sauce.
Chicken is a huge part of my diet and I love Mexican food...so I decided to make a quesadilla a la Kim style. I seasoned my chopped chicken breast then pan fried them in olive oil with red and green peppers, onions and mushrooms. After I placed the mixture onto the flat tortilla wrap, I then covered with a few slices of provolone cheese, then placed the other shell on top. I baked in the oven until the cheese was all melted. This came out good, next time I will add cheese on both sides and add some Mexican seasoning to my chicken...I think that will give it the taste I'm tasting for :)
I haven't had lamb chops in a very long time, maybe in a year. Of course I had a taste for some tangy red meat, so I found a two pack for a low price. I seasoned them then pan fried them in olive oil, made some yellow spanish rice and a spinach/tomatoe salad. I must say, this was such a yummy meal, I have to make it again soon.

Love love love Mediterranean food, decided to make some falafel's for the second time, but they were a total fail...maybe I'll have better luck next time! But... My homemade Tzatziki sauce came out so delish. I used Greek Yogurt, cucumber, parsley, lemon and a dash of salt...mmmm
I love a good food market or truck...a few months ago, I stopped into the Urban Space in the Garment District and I had the hardest time finding out what vendor to eat from, it was so many. I decided on three lol ..Domo Taco, Brooklyn Wok Shop and Red Hook Lobster Company.
At Domo Taco I had two teriyaki beef tacos with a creamy orange sauce, chopped purple cabbage, carrots and tomatoes. I can not tell you how delicious those tacos were, OMG!!!! out of this world delicious. From Brooklyn Wok Shop, I had a delicious bowl of pad thai, yuummmmyyy!!!
and from Red Hook Lobster, I had the lobster roll which was good, but I have definitely had better :(
I love Italian food so much! This dish was inspired by my crave for some creamy noodles. I sautéed thin chicken breast strips, tomatoes, mushroom and fresh baby spinach. While I was doing the sautéing, the noodles were set to boil. I then added the Alfredo sauce once the chicken, spinach, mushroom and tomato mix were nicely cooked. I mixed the Alfredo in and let it simmer for a few minutes, then dumped my cold rinsed spaghetti noodles into the Alfredo mix. I then let it all sauté together for a few more minutes, mixing throughout. Then voila! I plated it and poured a nice glass of white wine.
I was on a Mexican food kick and I just has the taste for some delicious nachos... This recipe was super easy. I cooked ground turkey meat with my favorite seasonings then layered them with nachos and shredded cheese. I topped it with tomatoes, jalapeños and onions. Put it in the oven to bake until cheese was nice and melted... Mmmmm, nom nom!
This salad was inspired by Chipotle... I had a taste for shrimp instead. I seasoned my shrimp in chipotle barbecue sauce then placed them on a regular salad, added some black beans, corn, shredded cheddar cheese, dab of plain Greek yogurt (sour cream substitute) and crumpled tortilla chips! YUM!
The name of these cookies say it ALL, I got this recipe from a fit teammate of mine and I've been making these delicious guilt free bad boys ever since...they are so good and so addicting
