Dinner: Beans Beans Beans

Another southern classic dish that I grew up with are beans and ham hocks but now that I'm not a pork eater, I make my beans with turkey necks or butts. I use Goya 16 beans and I add 2 or 3 pieces of turkey necks/butts, I cut up a small piece of pepper and onion, then season with salt (very little), pepper, and Mrs. Dash and let them all cook down for about 2 hours then I serve over brown rice and top with lots of hot sauce, yummy!The beans pair very well with fried chicken and/or collard greens (seen below) or kale
